New Service Added Between Phoenix and Port Houston

Union Pacific's new Phoenix Terminal connects Southwest markets with international ports in Southern California. The new service offers a sustainable, efficient rail option that takes trucks off the road, reducing emissions on California and Arizona highways.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many origins will be included in the service to Phoenix?
Initially this service will source international shipping containers from the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as well as Union Pacific’s ICTF.

Where will I pick up my containers?
This intermodal ramp will be owned and operated by Union Pacific. Duncan and Son Lines will dray all imports to their 25-acre container yard at 7211 W Southern Ave, Laveen Village, AZ 85339.

Can domestic 53 ft. containers ship into this facility?
This facility will be ISO containers (20 ft./40 ft./45 ft.) shipments only at start-up. We will evaluate expanding the terminal and service offerings in the future.

Who will provide the chassis for this new intermodal product?
Duncan and Son Lines owns more than 3,000 intermodal chassis and will be the sole chassis provider.

Can anyone ship into the Union Pacific Phoenix Pop-Up?
Yes, all customers are welcome. However Duncan and Son Lines will be the point of contact for all inquiries and will manage all shipments.
